Sample Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Hudson in the afternoon and check-in to the boutique hotel, Rivertown Lodge, located on Warren Street. The evening kicks off with a primer on the region's farm movement by ethno-botanist and gastronome, Katherine Millonzi. A short walk takes you to Hudson Food Studio, for a Southeast Asian inspired dinner.
Day 2
This morning's hands-on cooking class and lunch will be with celeb Chef Zak Pelaccio of Fatty Crab and Fatty 'Cue Hudson restaurant Fish & Game dedicated to showcasing regional bounty. Located in a former blacksmith's shop, Chef Pelaccio serves a seasonal menu of farm-to-table, New American fare. Enjoy this afternoon to shop and explore the sites of Hudson.
Day 3
Transfer to the country for a mushroom foraging expedition, led by a member of the local mycology association. Return to Hudson. After lunch at your leisure, private transfer to the local farmer's market to select ingredients for your mixology class at a micro-distillery. A spirit-lifting experience! Farewell dinner.
Day 4
You are at leisure until your departure. Hudson is a two hour drive from New York City. There is a train from Grand Central Station. Hudson is a former whaling port famous for its distinctive 19th century architecture and its vibrant artistic community. It is a premier marketplace of fine antiques and art. The city's streets are filled with art galleries, antique, jewelry, vintage clothing and furniture stores. Hudson's thriving culinary scene attracts notable New York chefs, and promises to sate sophisticated palates.
Day 4
Hudson is in the heart of the Hudson River Valley, its majestic valleys, sweeping rivers and serene lakes make it one of the Top 20 Must-See Places on National Geographic Traveler's "Best of the World" list. Nestled between the Catskill and Berkshire Mountains in Columbia County, Hudson is just 120 miles north of New York City.
