Go Local on Long Island
with Chef Anita Lo
October 13-16, 2023

Mama Farm, NY

Mama Farm is a farm that uses regenerative agriculture to grow food from heirloom seeds and heritage breeds. The farm occupies 28-acres in Brookhaven, New York, and there are beautiful woodlands, an animal sanctuary, and a vegetable farm. The farm and B&B is overseen by Elettra Wiedemann, and was founded in 2013 by actress, Isabella Rossellini.

As Chef Lo says: “Staying at Mama Farm is a regenerative experience. Being in a place full of happy animals and vegetables, fresh eggs and honey, and an endless array of wild foods creates a feeling of wellbeing. Harvesting these ingredients just steps away and then cooking them in the B&B’s well equipped kitchen leads to a primal feeling of connection to the land. And sharing those dishes around a table builds community, which in turn leaves you feeling restored. Mama farm is magical.”
