South Africa's history is rich and diverse, and their food and wine culture reflects centuries of intermingling ethnicities and flavors. The beautiful and cosmopolitan Cape Town and the historic towns and valleys of its Winelands are waiting to be explored - and tasted; and a visit to the Great Karoo and the African Relish Cooking School is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will never be forgotten.
We are pleased to offer three distinctive packages that feature exceptional accommodations
- each with a unique sense of place - special meals and the opportunity to personalize
your own adventure by choosing from an artfully created menu of activities.
1. A Taste of Cape Town
A four day/three night independent package. Laid out below the magnificent Table Mountain and anchored by a stunning coastline, sophisticated and multi-cultural Cape Town has much to offer visitors,
and foodies particularly delight in the culinary bounty:
gorgeous seafood, wild game and the region's signature Cape Malay cuisine - and the history behind it all. Your hotel is the exclusive Cape Grace which sits beneath Table Mountain on a private quay at the Victoria & Albert Waterfront.
A working harbor is to one side and an international marina on the other. Priced seasonally from $1,200 - $1500 per person,

2. A Taste of the Cape Winelands
A four day/three night independent package. Mountains rising above lush vine-covered valleys and verdant farmlands provide a dramatic backdrop to the oak lined streets of the Winelands' historic towns of
Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. It is here in Franschhoek where the French Huguenots first made wine in South Africa. Today, the industry is booming and the Stellenbosch
wine route offers over 130 wineries and an opportunity to sample stunning wines - accompanied by panoramic views. Not just for oenophiles,
the Winelands are a mecca for foodies as well. Your stay will be in the charming village of Franschhoek,
widely considered to be South Africa's culinary capital - and heart. Priced seasonally from from $1,000 - $1,200
per person, based on double occupancy. More details
3. African Relish Cooking School Experience A four day/three night cooking school program.
South Africa's Great Karoo is an ancient, rich land of vast plains and endless blue mountains whose little towns reflect and embrace the multi-ethnic and cultural heritage of its early
inhabitants: indigenous Koi and San tribesmen, Dutch and British settlers and the early slaves. This area's culinary traditions include dishes
passed down over centuries, with fascinating ingredients and prepared with age-old methods. The Karoo's charming village of Prince Albert, poised at the foot of the
Swatberg Pass - a Word Heritage Site - is home to the African Relish Cooking School. A stay here is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Priced from $950 per person, based on double occupancy. More details
