Let Tour de Forks take you to Sicily for the night. Join us at Le Cirque
on April 21 at 7:00 PM
for a screening of the documentary film (34 minutes) Amuri: The Sacred Flavors of Sicily
, followed by a four-course Sicilian dinner paired with Sicilian wines. The film was produced by the internationally acclaimed Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School
, and will be introduced by Lena Connor, one of the producers. It offers an intimate glimpse into the culinary and religious traditions at the center of the Sicilian spirit. It takes audiences on a mouthwatering journey through the colorful cuisine of five religious festivals across the island, from the sculptural village breads of Saint Joseph's Day
in March to the castanet-like clatter of snails cooked in Palermo for Santa Rosalia
in July. You'll be invited into the kitchens and lives of Sicilians as they taste and celebrate, laugh, cook, and eat.
